Remember the hungry
Haiku - Fruit Of Truth

5-7-5 Poetry Contest contest entry
There probably has been a period in your life where you lacked something but now you have it; it's in your grasp and it brings comfort and joy to you.
It could be the food you eat, the house you live in, the clothes you wear, the car(s) you drive or even the families and friends you are surrounded by. WE TAKE THESE GIFTS FOR GRANTED.
Well, we need to reflect. Why? Because there are people out there living under bridges with wives and children or worse...orphans and widows with no support whatsoever.
You'll always have the poor with you. Let this poem help you appreciate what you have and think of those who so desperately need help.
