Farmers awaken from winter’s bleak Planting will soon be at its peak Vegetables started indoors Planted outside before rain pours Perennials emerge, bulbs blossom Petals of all hues are awesome Winter’s barren branches turn green Beauty of summer gladly seen Stores are displaying seed packets Time to hang up winter jackets ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
