The dishes
Half-Life
by Marillion
Half-Life Dishwater cycles round the basin drain. It takes no time at all to tidy up with only half as many things to stain. Mere minutes on a spoon, a coffee cup, an iron skillet, one ceramic plate, a floral-patterned bowl, a fork and knife— no pairs at all; just ones to designate the singular condition of my life. |

I don't even own a dishwasher, so I do them by hand. Being single (happily), it doesn't take long, but it did inspired this little idea.
