Crocuses unfurl their vibrant saffron blue and mauve Daffodils dare to dance Light spills earlier through the curtain Evening shadows fall ever later Crows caw noisily from the highest branch Preening for their mate Timid new-born lambs balance on spindly legs Wind's raw edge softens Mother Nature renews Earth's cyclical heartbeat |
