LIMERICK writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt Please write a fun/rude Limerick. They are traditionally bawdy, though subtle sexual humour is much preferred to blatant crudeness. Limericks are written in FIVE lines and have a particular meter and rhyme scheme. The rhyme scheme is AABBA - 1st, 2nd and 5th lines must have matching perfect rhymes, as must the 3rd and 4th. Syllable count must be either, 99669 OR 99559. If in doubt, please 'Google Limericks' for examples. Please scroll down for an example of mine. ABSOLUTELY NO (I MEAN 'NO') AUTHOR NOTES ALLOWED. |
