"You've been wandering, haven't you?"
"Maybe."
What do you mean, 'maybe'?"
"Okay, I have, I admit it."
"And is there anyone better out there than me?"
"I don't know."
"Don't hang your head. Look me in the eye. What do you mean, 'you don't know?"
"I haven't finished looking yet. It's a big internet, you know."
"Haven't I been good to you?"
"Yes."
"Aren't there some great people and writers here?"
"Sure, sure."
"So what's your problem? Why are you looking at other writer sites?"
"Well, I love you and all, but you're awful expensive. I have to work for hours in reviewing to be able to pay out even 50-70 cents on my stuff."
"So pay me real dollars, already."
"I can't afford to do that and besides, some of these other sites offer free posting and reviews."
"So its gone that far...you've had relations with others already."
"Oh come on, you'll always be my first love."
"So, how's it working out? Is she as good as me?"
"No one's as good as you, baby. I came back didn't I?"
"Yes, but why? and for how long?"
"Do you want me back?"
"Of course I do. I've nurtured you from a lump of coal into a...a polished piece of coal...from a puppy, to a real dog of a writer."
"Enough with the questionable similes. I know you're mad at me...I've seen that look when I forgot to sign in or I tried to sneak a short review by you."
"Okay, I am mad but I want you back. No more straying!"
"Alright, I promise to come back and never stray again if you answer one question for me."
"Done. What is it?"
"Are you Tom?"
