The Project
by mrgrunty
I listen all the time, the voice inside my head. Some would say it's conscience, I call it you instead. Constant jolts of reason, an outcome shaped for you. Strive to be that person, but what does doing do? More than just to please you, I want to be that man. Help us be forever, in my way, if I can. Tell you that I'm sorry, for things before we'd met. Not your place to judge me, I don't owe you that debt. You should face the mirror. This bird must leave its cage. Check your own reflection, take ownership of rage. |
