For Now
by rosehill (Wendy)
When I grow up, just wait and see,
~
you'll like the me I'm going to be. For now, its tough to sit all day in class when I would rather play, not raise my hand or wait my turn. (There's waaaay too many rules to learn!) At lunch I trade my fruit for cakes. I use my tennis shoes for brakes. I leave my hand prints on the walls, disrupt the class, run in the halls. I talk too much and laugh too loud. . . But one day, you will be so proud 'cause when I'm grown, on office days I'll do my work and get all A's! So way back now, while I'm a kid Let's just forgive the things I did. |
