"Gwanpa ... Gwannnpa ... GWANPA!"
"I'm sorry, Ryder, were you calling me?"
"Oh, Gwanpa, you know dat was me, Ryder, calling. You acting like a little kid now."
"Is that so, young man? Let me tell you, I can walk and chew gum at the same time. Can you? Huh?"
"Well ... no. But, Gwanpa, I'm only six months old. I don't walk. But I can roll from my back to my belly. Wanna see?"
"Maybe later, big guy. I'm more interested in what you're holding. Is that a guitar?"
"Yup. You gave me this 'tar."
"You mean guitar. Say it slow, gi-tar."
"I did, 'tar."
"Close enough. The guitar, or 'tar as you say is bigger then you, Ryder. Do you like the guitar?"
"Oh yeah, Gwanpa. I like it a lot, and ... and Mommy said she is gonna buy me some cool wocker clothes. But first, she said, I have to pwactice. What does pwactice mean Gwanpa? Do you know?"
"Pwactice. Ahh, I mean practice, means that every day you pick up the guitar not only to learn something new, but also to go over what you already learned. You understand?"
"Uh-huh."
"So, Mister Ryder, who do you want to play guitar like? Hmm? Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page or maybe like Peter Frampton? Maybe..."
"Gwanpa, I can't be Jimi Hendrix, he had that afro-thingy going on with his hair. Jimmy Paige, he took the Stairway to Heaven, right Gwanpa? How'my doin so far?"
"Great, Ryder, you're doing great."
"You know who I want to play like, Gwanpa? Go head, guess."
"I ... I really don't know. Who?"
"Mickey Mouse. You know, from the Mickey Mouse Club. He's so cool."
"Yes he is, Ryder. Yes he is. Okay, you ready? Here's how to hold the guitar..."
