Why can't I write like I wrote before
About screams and dreams and loves galore

Where is the rhythm of the rhyme
Where are the words that beat in time

Where is the story without an end
Where is my muse my trusted friend

What is the lure of yesterdays tome
Why can't I write a simple poem

I'm running out of words you see
My mind is blocked internally

What do I do now
