Languished feelings in my brain I cannot comprehend Just yesterday I was in love Youth soaring in my head My delicious Abigail So soft to the touch Blown away in the wind Like dust to dust First by tears Then by Sorrow Oh how the warmth of time Makes forgetfulness The rage And muted sunsets A dirge in time Sweeps the rivers Of love and rhyme |
