Oh Heavenly Father
You are my King
Your creation
Is my soul of life

Doomed in darkness
I see You not

Your wisdom
I have betrayed
Yet
You are there
In my every breadth
My every vision

I pray for Your touch
Your hands mould forgiveness
And I pray for Your healing
In an evil world

I am but a thorn on a flowered rose
Sanctify my soul
Forgive me through prayer
Forgive me through action
The transgressions I have committed
Bring shame
And remorse
To a tragedy
Of my own consequence

Spiteful revenge
I could not help

The Commandments
Heavenly laws of perpetuity
Demanded in covenants past
And commanded in covenants future
Have decimated my body with putrefaction
I have defiled Your name
And brought shame
Upon myself

My brethren look at me with contempt
Shall they cast the first stone
Or shall all who have sinned
All who have lived
Be pardoned
Unto You
My One God
My True God

Free me from captivity
And bring me home
