A chapter in the book And then there's Grace
Keep Me
by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens
Almighty strength, don't let me fail When resolve grows weak, and fears assail Keep me ever strong in thee Before thy throne on bended knee When my love for mankind falters And belief in 'good' grows weak Keep me Lord, contrite and humble And most of all Lord, Keep me Meek Thy whirling world with strife and stress Is sore beset with sins duress' Keep me Ready to confess Thy holy name o'er all the rest And finally 'ere life is through Keep me ever close to you Keep me Secure and out of harm In the solace of thy loving arms |
