You Are My

 You Are My… You are my rock giving me strength in times of stress You are my willow bending with me through the changing winds of time You are my waterfall each drop dancing joyfully during the good times You are my sun warming me in the bitter winds of winter You are my clouds floating freely like dreams in the night You are my moon ever-changing but always there You are my stars twinkling brightly through times of darkness You are my flowers bursts of bright color against a sea of green You are my morning the wonder that is born with each new day You are my songbird singing that welcomes at the break of dawn You are my ocean waves rolling steadily in and out on sandy beach You are my down the softness of feathers on the first plumage of a bird You are my night the peacefulness between sunrise and sunset You are my reflection in a still pond which mirrors the truths of life ~~*~~ |
