Adam and Eve.

When God said to Adam, "here's your wife"
He didn't count on too much strife
but Eve was fooled by a snake
forbidden fruit she'd take
only one measly bite
it took to end
their delight
now their
plight
Is
in the
dimming light
of wild and lakes
fending off all snakes
no more help was offered
a harsh new life was proffered
a world of sin they'd now grapple
'thus poor Eve 'bitin' - tempting apple
