A chapter in the book My Life in words
Slapstick Charlie.

Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin all was quiet when he was filming. In black and white he was such a delight. Chaplin, Charles Spencer "Charlie", always left you feeling happy, with slapstick, miming and comic timing. |
Double Reverse-Name Clerihew writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt A Clerihew is a specific kind of short humorous verse. It typically contains the following properties: --It is biographical and usually whimsical, showing the subject from an unusual point of view. --It has four lines of irregular length (for comic effect) with an AABB rhyme scheme. --The first line consists solely (or almost solely) of a well-known person's name. Example: Bruce Lee, as all will agree, was a great fighter. None could clench their fists tighter. ------------------------------------ Lee, Bruce could really spruce it up on the big screen, but rough you up behind the scene. Be creative, and have fun! |
