A mesmerising look at a dysfunctional family
Who are they?
by HAPPIOTTER
The day of birth is such a joy,
to pick your kin is such a ploy, While growing up with controlling peers, Left my heart shedding many tears. Though I was the eldest child of two, Responsibilities for me only grew. Cooking, Cleaning, Dusting Galore, trying to get sister to help is a chore. After all the years of pleasing Mom & Dad, Never a thank you or smile only left me quite sad. More years of talk, lies, and mean things to say, I finally cut ties one bright summer day. The letter was simple but spoke quite a note, No longer my family I read with a choke. I love them no matter one way or the other, I never once broke they made me a great Mother. |

Sometimes family is not what it should be. Make something good out of the situation and be a better parent.
