The Kiss

Mom always said, Love is blind, but not deaf and dumb! I didn't care, because it was going to be puppy love for me. I was set up on a date with a stranger who picked me up in his orange Z28. I never had a traditional kiss , flush on the mouth before, like in the movies, where the man and woman close their eyes and keep their mouths shut. Before we took off, I took his face and placed my lips gently on his. Ugh, instantly I regretted it, because he burped, and it tasted like raw hamburger.
