the power of love
Her Song of Love Turned Dark
by Fleedleflump
Enshrouded in the warmth of my chest's clutch, she sings pontifications to the dark in baritone persuasions' dulcet touch and my soprano's deference, so stark that messages of love vibrate the strings of every fibre running through my whole; to muscles' wry accompaniment, she sings an aria that twines our very souls in bondage unintended by her song, asylum's wall encompassing my mind with dark affection's desperation's throng; devotion turned into a tie that binds. Within, she deafens, chokes my ailing heart; with love she kills, and tears our world apart. |
