Retirement

R
eaching these golden years at last
Ending life's era of work
Telling myself that I am still young
Ignoring each ache and each quirk
Remembering things--now hard to do
Enjoying my naps, quite easy
Making more time for things I like
Eating less things that are cheesy
Never has life been quite like this
The challenge of aging with bliss

Writing Prompt
Write an acrostic poem. Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. See an example in the announcement.
