And Date Night continued
A chapter in the book Keith & Brianna
All About the Cake
by sunnilicious
"It turns out your mom needs some ground ginger for a cake," Keith reported.
Brianna laughed, "Deep rooted baking problems on a Friday night."
"Take a few dollars from my wallet. I'm dropping you in front of Piggly Wiggly. You pick up the McCormick and meet me. I'll park and get in line for the movie tickets. It's a good plan," Keith tried to convince her.
And she said, "But it's only 8:45!"
"Dinner from the concession stand could take some time. They're slower than fast food. I don't want to miss the Previews either," spoke a jumpy Keith.
She rolled her eyes, "Alright... ground ginger wins."
"Can you come over straight after work tomorrow," Brianna asked?
"Why," Keith asked?
"I just hate spending Saturday without you. And tomorrow, I have to put up with all these people at my house. I need you for sanity. We can play board games with Jeanie and Cole," she cried.
He yielded at the traffic light, "There's Piggly Wiggly now!"
"Keith, Keith.... Are you listening to me," Brianna questioned?
"Always, but I hate Saturday night babysitting. It's like I'm dating your whole family. And those damn Disney movies make me feel like I'm 10 or something," he grinned. "Okay, I'll see you in a few minutes. Give me a kiss."
"Mwah," on the lips and she pulled away.
"Come back here and give me a real kiss," demanded Keith.
She replied stepping out of the hatch back, "But we're at Piggly Wiggly!"
