You aren't the man you used to be, So muscular and strong, Most times you can't remember me, I guess it's been too long. A stranger now to most it seems, Not knowing who you are, Lost within your darkest dreams, Your mind has traveled far. When I look into your eyes That glisten now with tears, This is where I find love lies Amidst your pain and fears. The joy of love we shared Something time will not erase, It found a home within our hearts A warm and loving place. A stranger now to most it seems, Not knowing who you are, Lost within your darkest dreams. Your mind has traveled far. I won't think about tomorrow, Such thoughts will make me blue, Can't face my deepest sorrow, Don't know just what to do. Remembering the life we shared, A love to last through time, Knowing that forever more, Your heart is always mine. A stranger now to most it seems, Not knowing who you are, Lost within your darkest dreams, Your mind has traveled far. So here we sit, just you and I, Though others may be blind, I've just to look into your eyes, To find the love that's mine. Your memories have taken flight, It's written on your face. But in your heart, it's only right To find our love in place. A stranger lives within your mind, But never in your heart. Even when you leave me, We shall never be apart. |
