“You don’t need to bother telling her, I’ve decided to have an abortion,” Grace said.
“Don’t I have a say in this? I am the father, you know.”
“Edward, you’re a married man, or have you forgotten?”
“I want this child, Grace.”
“But you don’t want me, Edward.”
“You have no idea how much I want you, Grace. I told my wife about us. We’re getting a divorce.”
“I’m still having an abortion.”
“And, I’m still going to marry you. I love you.”
Grace turned and looked out the window.
“You get the four AM feeding.”
“Deal,” he said.
