As I sit and ponder
The swirling emotions
Of perception, I realize
That I have cause for concern.

Disheartened by the lack
Of perpetual peace in the
World, I kiss off the
Salutations of mankind.

As the grey clouds of ruin
Cast their shadows over
The rainbows of lovable fools,
Tears of sadness run their course.

During the fall of the sun,
Darkness heals the wounds
That have been caused by the
Overpowering lust for greed.
