Sunset Tea Party

My table is set on the terrace
with finest lace and delicate china
and shining silver spoons

I am waiting for you to come

We can listen to the waves' whisper
under the cerulean sky
and watch slowly fading light

I am waiting for you to come

Wafer thin sandwiches
cheese and cucumber in between
just a dash of mint chutney

I am waiting for you

You can have your choice
of exotic blends of tea
even the moonlight plucked one

I am waiting for you to come

with the table set and all ready
for a sunset tea party...
