Hidden Faith

I feel my faith is always tested. 
My heart is never truly rested. 
I often struggle and fight inside. 
Deep within is where my doubt resides. 
 

I have faith that tomorrow will come. 
On days I feel defeated and numb. 
I try to think hard of better times. 
I look for God’s subtle, soothing signs. 

 

I feel the warmth of the rising Sun. 
The bee and the flower it comes from.   
The flowing creek that runs beside me.  
It’s the bird singing in the Oak tree.  
 

Faith is a warm feeling which fills me. 
It’s the clarity that helps me see.  
Faith is the force built within my soul. 
It’s the missing piece that makes me whole.
