Big Brother Strong

by John Cranford

Who will hold me now she's gone?
Who will tell me to hang on?
Who will wrap me in their arms?
Who will shield me from all harms?

Who will tell me they are here?
Who will tell me not to fear?
Who will catch me when I fall?
Who will hear me when I call?

Now I know where I belong.
He has been here all along.
He will wipe away my tears.
He won't leave when night appears.

When I'm weak he will be strong,
Though the night may seem so long.
All his promises he'll keep.
In his arms I fall asleep.
