What shall we do?

Questions

Are my feet of crumbling clay, unable to withstand the weight of a world that crushes souls?  

Am I then, to topple prostrate as he who stood at Rhodes? 

Will I let the blackbirds pluck out mine eyes, to better the stock in a witche's cauldron?

Will I let them feast upon these bones, this fallen armature of the once magnificent?

Or will I rise, like the Phoenix , with mighty wings, and fly into the sun?
