Unrequited love

by Ophelia1234

Her eyes shine brightly, like sun setting over the sea
In my future she is the only thing I can foresee
Her name falls from my lips like a prayer
In my life she’s the only jewel I will wear

Her poems are like a passionate kiss
Her laugh is something I dare not miss
I can’t seem to get enough
I can't seem to stop this bluff

She likes a boy, and it shows
She likes a boy, but my passion grows
I like her and it pains me so much
I always seem to like her touch
She is content with what we are
So, I'll just watch her from afar
