The lady and the gentleman

have matching statements, now they can 

be reunited once again

more fearful than they’ve ever been.

The FBI has just arrived

Reports will now be given live.

They hug their phones and take a look. 

They must conduct this by the book.

They wait to question mom and dad

allowing them to just feel sad.

But they already have a plan.

They think that they can find the man.

They’re thinking drugs have played a part.

But mom and dad swear from their heart

that drugs have never been in here.

They hope they’ve made things very clear.

Lieutenant Brady orders soon

to grill the neighbors after noon  

He’s hoping that the team will find

outstanding warrants, any kind.

Their searching shows the house next door

will give them what they’re looking for.

The residents had skipped their bail,

must capture both, they cannot fail.

Had lawmen caught the man and wife,

the likely sentence would be life,

and so they ran and moved next-door,

but they’re not talking anymore.

The searching dogs found lots of drugs

some jewels and expensive rugs.

The most important clue of all?

Their three year old is very small.
