As they looked forward to new starts

The other writers stole their hearts

For contests they are on the run

To make sure they get their post done



They took a shot at poetry

The great reviews made them feel free

Louise said I hope it's no crime

My hands are tied if I can't rhyme



They felt they needed a pen~name

 But clueless which one's they should claim

 They'd write some capers that won't fail

And their paper won't need a trail



They'd catch onto the book fiction

They wrote "Two Girls with Conviction"

But typed till their fingers were stiff

To write both girls right off the cliff
