A poem of Love

Forevermore

by poetwatch

For my first line I will write, “I love you.”

Our years we danced together getting old,

Recalling mem’ries now is what we do.

Each is a precious moment we hold.

Viewed by our hearts yesterday never left,

Evidence of our innocent young love.

Right or wrong, when together we were deft.

More so, we’re one with the wings of a dove

Our flight is heaven for we've flown awhile.

Remembering is our forever-more

Each night I hold you and see your sweet smile.
