The leader of the Humistone

Manistone

by Lea Tonin1

Birthed from stone wall, granite retreat

Snapped through the ore lands on his feet

Others were weeping, troubling road

No parent who guides, grown or old

Held together, circle of rock

Manistone rose made of strong stock

Infanstone drawn to leave cave home

Brotherstone, sisterstone stay, roam

Slate, quartz, rubble blocked their escape

Manistone hands changed to round shape

Stone launch from wrists, greased lightning roars.

Freedoms light shows infanstone doors.
