Violins

Them / shapely ladies/ listen 

to them/ stringing yarns/ killin' 

time/ kiss-and-telling tales 

about bastard beaus/ who failed 

courtships/ causing madness like

shrieking cats cussing cold nights'

tremolando/ tears drippin'...

My brother-in-law is a fantastic string player. I try. We get a chance to duet occasionally because he doubles as my violin tutor. I'm the shrieker in this situation and he just plays so beautifully. He brings the good tears.
