I don’t like who I was before

entitled and full of spite

I’ve decided to live for more

awareness of what is right

I used to climb into a hole

searching for a lonesome soul

taking not giving was my creed

running on an insatiable need

If I find someone worthy

of winning my heart

I’ll share my true feelings

giving love from the start

Ethics and kindness

mean more to me now

than all the hardships

that could arrive somehow

I’ve become who I love

working hard every day

achieved my wholeness
