5-7-5 A Flower writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a 5-7-5 about ONE type of flower.
Plural is OK.

For more than 500 years the passionflower has been held by Christian theologians to symbolise the Passion of Christ. Its white colour represents Purity, its blue is Heaven above. The central cup like structure represents the Holy Grail and the surrounding radial projections the Crown of Thorns. The flower remains open for three days, seen either as representing the three years of Christ*s ministry or the period between his death on the cross and his Resurrection.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
