Once I Was

Once I was a young girl with dreams

Carefree and having fun with themes

Hanging out all night with friends

Had a great time with fashion trends

Once I was free to run the streets

Going to restaurants for eats

The sun would rise and I'd leave home

Riding my bike all over I'd roam

Once I was a sailor sailing

Rules and regulations prevailing

First duty station all alone

Trying to navigate unknown

Once I was young and had friends

Now I'm old with Fan Story friends
