To garnish, or not

by royowen

I'll try to garnish speech with grace,
to girt my words with silk and lace,
For God would never use abuse,
but righteous judgement He would loose.

God's Son has shown a better way,
revealing goodness everyday.
Unearthing kindness, healing those.
Presenting Christ in love's sweet pose.

For Jesus said, "If you've known me,
by faith through grace God sets one free.
My Father wishes none be lost
in proving this my life's love's cost."

The love of God has granted grace,
receiving this will win life's race.
Now if we turn from sin's dark choice,
eternal climes then have a voice.

Christ's sacrifice was made for all,
for those that will believe faith's call.
His blood poured out will cover sins,
and through this gift salvation wins.

If we declare that Christ is Lord,
then through this name salvation's stored.
No other name can free or save,
and death can't win or can the grave.

Colossians1:28-29
Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration and passion in ministry to labor with a tireless intensity, with his power flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his perfect one in Jesus Christ.

 Luke 4:18-21
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me [a]to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those
who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.
John 14:9
Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Matthew 26:28
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins

Romans 10:12-13
For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him, 13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
