The worn leather of their chairs creaked in unison as they sat, sipping tea. He reached for her hand, his arthritic fingers tracing the lines etched by time. "Fifty years," he whispered, his eyes crinkling with a smile. She squeezed his hand, her gaze filled with a love that had weathered storms and endured the passage of time.
"I love you" he whispered.
"I love you" he whispered.
