Time Flys...

The Problem of Calcualting Time.

by Harry Craft

The problem of calculating time

is there is never enough time

we are so busy with our lives

everything seems so sublime

It’s like calculating a dollar

by counting a dime

it’s enough to make you holler

I don’t have enough time

We must control the unwinding

of our senses to have enough time

to accomplish our daily tasks

for time is very quick

 and wears tricky masks

How do we calculate time?

do we measure how much

we get done in a day

Or do we measure

The second hand of a clock

that turns into hours

then see how much we accomplished

during those hours

The problem is calculating time

for there is no rhyme

we just never seem

to have enough time

A poem about measuring time.
