This is an effort to capture my faith outside familiar myth
I. WHAT ALL IS
ALL always was,
Always is,
And always will be,
ALL.
ALL is consciousness
And desire.
Desire that wills
To be in relationship.
ALL's desire for relationship
Is love
With hope and faith
In goodness.
But relationship
Requires reciprocation,
And reciprocation
Requires another.
ALL's motive was desire for relationship.
II. HOW IT BEGAN
ALL decreed
The physical constants
For matter to become
What matter will become.
Sprinkled throughout
Evolving matter
Are slivers
Of ALL's consciousness.
Thus, there exists
ALL and matter,
Two modes of knowing,
Formed for relationship.
There remained
A need
For a means
Of communication.
ALL established
The nous in matter,
A wormhole
Between the two.
For matter,
The nous is
An innermost ear,
The eye of the heart.
ALL established nous
In anticipation
Of matter's readiness
For relationship.
ALL did its part.
III. THE POINT OF ALL'S DESIRE
All could have willed
Tangible,
Active matter
Be only good.
But ALL knew
Matter would evolve
To experience its own
Desires and will.
Desires and will
Contrary to ALL's,
Leaving matter
Free to be.
How else have hope and faith in goodness?
IV. ALL's RESPONSE TO MATTER
When matter
Pursued its desires,
The result was often
Tragedy and pain.
Once matter evolved,
And could understand,
ALL fully entered
Into matter's spacetime.
ALL's new desire was
To show matter
How ALL's love
Makes suffering sufferable.
ALL's love for matter is not contingent.
V. MATTER'S PART
ALL wills
Matter experience
Tragedy being redeemed
Into goodness.
ALL hopes
Eased suffering
Will nudge matter
To desire and will goodness.
ALL's faith
Nudges matter
To desire justice
For the poor and needy.
In relationship with ALL, matter seeks goodness.
VI. REDEMPTION AND LIBERATION
When tragedies are redeemed,
Matter is liberated
And is surrounded by love,
As the waters cover the sea.
