Take a little journey

Come, take a little journey
through pathways of my mind.
Where sunshine rests on water
where trust is never blind.

Where time does not have meaning
eternity holds sway.
Where grace and faith cost nothing
in mercy's tender way.

I'm neither rich nor gifted
with gold or gems to spare.
Yet I know heaven's riches
where love is mercy's fare.

I have no looks or beauty
where eye can be impressed.
My self esteem's not earthly,
but based on favour's test.

It's wealth's not measured by Earth's span,
yet where love's width is stored,
I am joint heir with Christ Himself
where Lamb and Lion roared.
