The past is gone

by royowen

The past is past and won't return,
unless one dips in mem'ry's urn.
Yet every day new things I learn,
I can but let time's candle burn.

Although I know from whence I came,
I have great faith, believe God's fame.
He made me in the depths of Earth,
from mother's womb came forth with worth.

I also know where e're I go,
those wondrous days with grace will flow.
My Lord is always by my side,
and evermore with me will bide.

When time for me has ceased to be,
it's then I'll sail eternal seas.
The pain of life will not exist,
no heartache, sorrow can persist.

Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. ESV

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teaching. It is good to have our hearts strengthened by grace and not by fools, which do not benefit those who live by them.

Psalm 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved KJV

Psalm 139:13-
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be. NIV
