Saluting Cecilia

Cecilia's from upstate New York, a place called Watertown

Then she lived 15 miles from me, where winter's make you frown

Cause its so fiercely cold out here, you want to hibernate

She's moved to Gunter, Texas (she was smart) and doing great



She's married to an awesome guy for 27 years

They have a daughter and two sons, this family adheres

Her brother and her sister; they both think she's wonderful 

She also has three dogs, a pug, a jug and a pit-bull



In Navy, over 16 years, where she served most of us. 

Retirement from the U.S. Postal Service is a plus

Cecilia's kinda new, so look her up, and fan and greet 

She's hoping that her goal to write a book she soon will meet



She loves to travel, meet new people, help those who have needs

And though she gardens, her writing is where she'll plant her seeds

So, riding motorcycle might be her best thing of all

Loves scrapbooking and puzzles, and best time of year is Fall



Cecilia, we salute you for the service you have made

Around here we have much respect for veterans portrayed

And 16 years is a long time for anyone to serve

 We wish you joy and happiness, and praise that you deserve
