Love Hurts...

Wife walked away,
Nothing left to say,
Not an excuse for love,

His pleas she did spurn,
She did survive,
Her gifts did thrive,
Silver grey, no strife,
Once she was a wife,
Love can hurt, okay,
Grand for some, I say......
