A brief synopsis of...

What Love Is

by Tom Horonzy

Important.

First, it should be
for altruistic purposes.
Caring more for another
than caring for oneself
is very philanthropic.

 It is munificently being
an idealistic being,
selflessly adoring,
some other more
 than oneself.

It may just be
an innate trait,
 a parcel of d.n.a.
endowed by
Our Creator?

"id est" - i.e.
Greater love hath
no man than to lay
down one’s life
for a friend as Jesus did.

Unsure
who can be as He
choosing to do unto others
as we would ourselves;
but Love lets us try.

Love is devotion
set in motion.
A spark enlightening
the dark in the heart
 of another.
