Bit of fun with a classic tale.

Cinderella, that fella!

by Julie G1

Reasons for many things,
Chicks and their golden rings,
Here is a classic tale,
Hope grins do not fail,
Cinderella had  a stepmother,
Not her fairy godmother,
"Cinderella, Cinderella,
What handsome fella?
You're dreaming, you ken,
Get your mind off men,
Where's the pumpkin?  I ask,
Cooking soup is your task,
I'll give it to you,
You've lost one shoe,
Pet mice ran away..."
But Cinders had her best day,
"Where is that fella?
Cinderella, Cinderella!"
Good question, quite rude,
Cinders woke up with attitude!
