The Dance of Spring

by BermyBye50

She knocks upon my door with gentle grace,
Her breath of warmth, a kiss upon the air
Spring comes to me, a dancer full of light,
Her footsteps revive life with tender care.

Her fingers brush the earth, and flowers rise,
Their petals blush beneath her sweet caress.
She paints the sky with shades of gentle blue,
A canvas stretched in perfect tenderness.

With every step, she stirs my sleeping soul,
And calls me forth to join her joyful dance.
I feel her laughter ripple through the breeze,
As hope takes root, born of a fleeting chance.

Her presence wakes my dreams I’ve long denied,
She whispers, “Awake, for springtime is here.”
In her embrace, I cast the past away,
And rise anew, unburdened by old fear.

She sings to me of endless second starts,
Of life reborn, of seasons yet to be.
With her return, I find my voice again,
Her dance of life, a song that sets me free.
