A poem about feeling grief.

Grief

by FayeRoot

The world stands still.
I swallow the pill of grief.
Ever since that day.
I had changed in every way.
I bring roses to your grave.
And yet I am unable to cry.
Numb to the world, after you.
Everything passed on, but me.
I stood still in the hands of death.
As your body rots in the ground, I rot, alive.
Without you around.
