Jamie

Some people come into your life

And truly make a difference 

She may or may not bring much strife

But she will leave her fingerprints 


Her name is Jamie and she is

Our sweet rural mail carrier 

This woman sure knows her business

And all that's been trusted in her 


A hard worker who is street smart 

Most days when she's done with her route

Her second job is at Walmart

That's what Jamie is all about 


A special woman who I'm proud

To say she's a very good friend

And I would like to say out loud

Our gratitude to her we send

But recently she became sick

We pray chemo and surgery

And radiation does the trick

Then maybe she'll  be cancer free


So Jamie, we want you to know

We pray your health is soon on track

Please know that when they let you go

We love you and we want you back
